Sites that make you go AGH MY EYES!!!
Ever heard of "MatMice"? It's a site that provides web pages to children. However, most of the sites hosted there (if you can call having 1 page hosting) will make you SCREAM. You probably know what I mean.
Please note that I have nothing against the kids who make these pages, but they really need to learn what people will like and what is just TOO much!
Anyway, here are the sites that are so bad your computer might crash:
http://pages.matmice.com/home/ace_kool_groovy_babe/
http://pages.matmice.com/home/amys_glitter_uniques/
http://pages.matmice.com/home/aberangel404/ - DO NOT VISIT! ARGHHH!!!!!
Here are some that are just darn impossible to read:
http://pages.matmice.com/home/fashion_focus/
http://pages.matmice.com/home/pink_princess678/
And here are other sites:
http://pages.matmice.com/home/flying_bubbles/ - pops up javascript alerts
"aberangel404" almost crashed Firefox running under Linux, probably crashes IE6 on windoze. Save unsaved work before visiting.
/dev/mal?
If you don't get the title of this blog, I'll explain:
/dev
- The UNIX device directory. Stores information about drives and media related to the computer.
mal
- My name
This means that /dev/mal would be "the mal device". ;-)

Good Linux Distributions I
Thinking of getting Linux? Here are some distributions that I recommend:
Ubuntu: A nice, easy to set up distribution of Linux. I personally use this distro.
SimplyMEPIS: Based on Ubuntu but even simpler
Damn Small: As the name suggests, this is a small 50MB distro.
Kubuntu / Xubuntu / Fluxbuntu: Versions of Ubuntu that use KDE, Xfce and Fluxbox instead of the Ubuntu GNOME.

Ubuntu: Linux for human beings
You've probably heard of Linux. If you haven't, click here.
Originally, Linux was very complex and you had to be an expert to install and use it. But now, there are many Linux distributions that are user-friendly, easy to install and use and don't require too much computer knowledge. One of those distributions is called Ubuntu, and its slogan is "Linux for Human Beings".
You just download an ISO image from the Ubuntu site, burn it to a CD (using an ISO recording application), put the CD in your CD drive, reboot the computer, and Linux boots off the CD leaving your Windoze install intact. If you like Linux, open up the Ubuntu "install" file.

Google messes up
"We hope the download process was simple and straightforward. If you received a small notification window asking "Would you like to run or save this file" then the download was successful and you're ready to install Google SketchUp (free). Simply locate the file to complete the installation process. If you believe the download was unsuccessful select the link below to try again."
It looks like Google is going to get a lot of clicks on that download link from inexperienced users.
